Lloyd

Master Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon^[1][2] is the Green Ninja, the Master of Energy, and the current leader of the Ninja team. He is Garmadon and Misako's son, Wu's nephew, and the First Spinjitzu Master's grandson. Once a bratty kid who sought to follow in his evil father's footsteps, Lloyd changed his ways by helping the ninja and realizing his destiny was to be the Green Ninja. As the ninja trained Lloyd, he reunited with his mother Misako, and faced Garmadon corrupted by the Overlord, becoming the Golden Ninja.

Garmadon is purified of evil, and the Overlord is defeated—but he later returns and steals Lloyd's Golden Power. When Zane sacrificed himself to destroy the Overlord, the ninja separated, but Lloyd stayed as the Green Ninja. He was still able to reconnect them before they found him alive on Chen's Island. Lloyd, Kai, Jay, and Cole set out to save Zane by entering the Tournament of Elements. This brought a war between the Elemental Masters and Chen's Anacondrai warriors, which ended when Lloyd had to banish his father to the Cursed Realm. However, this caused another problem—freeing Wu's old pupil, Morro.

Lloyd was later possessed by Morro, who claimed the Realm Crystal and freed the Preeminent. Lloyd escaped Morro's possession and helped battle him, but The Preeminent's destruction destroyed the Cursed Realm, killing his once-evil father in chains, Chen, and the Anacondrai warriors. Shortly after, Lloyd helped battle the Sky Pirates and their captain, Nadakhan. In one of the fights, Lloyd stated that he wanted to be wiser, but it made him older. When Nya was killed by poison, Jay made his final wish, recent events were undone and Lloyd's age was reversed. On the Day of the Departed, Lloyd and Misako commemorated Garmadon at the Corridor of Elders, where he fought against Pythor. Lloyd would later battle the Time Twins and their Vermillion army. In Wu's absence, Lloyd temporarily led the ninja and became their new master when Wu was lost in time.

Lloyd led the ninja against the Sons of Garmadon, who sought to resurrect his father, while also being attracted to Harumi—who is revealed to be the Quiet One and winds up being the leader of the group. Lord Garmadon is resurrected as an evil warlord, says that he has no son and hates him, and nearly kills Lloyd in a dangerous battle that strips Lloyd of his powers. After the Colossus seemingly killed the original ninja and a toddler Wu, Lloyd led the Resistance against his corrupted father and his followers, the Sons of Garmadon. Eventually, the ninja returned to Ninjago and helped fight the Sons of Garmadon. In a climactic battle, Lloyd regained his powers while using The Art of the Silent Fist and defeated his father, who warned him of coming darkness as he was arrested. When the Oni invaded Ninjago, Lloyd and Garmadon discover the secret to defeating them is the Golden Armor. With the Golden Weapons rebuilt, Lloyd, the ninja, Wu, and Garmadon combined their powers into an ultimate Tornado of Creation, vanquishing the Bringers of Doom and freeing the realms from their destructive grasp.

Months after the Oni's invasion, Lloyd and his friends just played video games, until NGTV reports about a pyramid that is unexplored, and Clutch Powers, a former explorer, doesn't want to explore it. So, the ninja go to explore the pyramid with Clutch Powers, but after exploring for a little, they find a secret tomb. Jay and Nya accidentally release Aspheera from the tomb, so Lloyd and the other ninja fight against Aspheera and her Pyro Vipers. After Zane is banished by Aspheera's sorcery, he and the other remaining ninja send themselves to the Never-Realm to rescue him. Lloyd befriends the Formling, Akita, (who was nicknamed "Red" before he discovered that she was a Formling) on his journey to find Zane, but they are separated when he is captured and brought to Castle of Ice, where he discovers that Zane has become the Ice Emperor, with Vex and Grimfax on his side. Zane's memories are triggered in time for him to save Lloyd from an attack from his adviser and manipulator Vex, freeing the realm from his tyranny. After saying goodbye to Akita and a kiss on the cheek, he and his friends safely return to Ninjago.

Sometime later, Lloyd and the other ninja enter the virtual world of Prime Empire, when the legendary arcade game resurfaces and hundreds of gamers are zapped into it after reaching level 13. Lloyd overcomes his hesitance when he faces an Avatar of Harumi created by Unagami, and they destroy each other in a clash and get cubed. When Jay manages to console Unagami, Lloyd and everyone else formerly trapped in the game were released.

After being gone for many weeks, Lloyd, the other ninja, and Wu were invited to the Ivory City of Shintaro to attend Princess Vania's birthday. Despite this, Lloyd gets suspicious of Vania and thinks she's deceiving the ninja like Harumi did. When Cole is captured by the Skull Sorcerer, Lloyd and the other ninja try to rescue him but end up being captured as well. The ninja manage to successfully breakout but Cole and Lloyd fail to locate the Blades of Deliverance, instead, alerting the Skull Sorcerer of their escape. The ninja accidentally split up in their escape and Lloyd finds himself going to the Munce Home-Cave with Nya and Jay. Sometime after, Lloyd and the ninja (except Cole) tried to unite the Geckles and Munce so they can defeat the Skull Sorcerer until they were forced to surrender when the Skull Sorcerer ressurcets Grief-Bringer, allowing the Skull Sorcerer to capture them all. However, when Plundar frees the ninja, Lloyd helps fight the Awakened Warriors until Cole defeats the Skull Sorcerer with the Spinjitzu Burst. Before going on another adventure with the ninja and Wu, Lloyd apologizes to Vania for not trusting her.
